A former San Diego corporate executive who traveled to the Philippines to have sex with children was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in federal prison for child pornography. Carsten Igor Rosenow, 55, made videos of himself having sex with various girls, at least one under age 12, according to federal prosecutors. More such videos were found at his home. He was convicted by a federal jury last year on charges of producing and possession of child pornography. Rosenow, a German citizen, was the chief marketing officer for San Diego genetic research company Illumina. A federal judge on Thursday ordered that, when Rosenow finishes serving his prison time, he remain on supervised release for the rest of his life.
